愛歐娜海灘(Chinese)
Walk or cycle into the Strait of Georgia! Spectacular ocean, sky and mountain views surround the
four-kilometre jetty. Tidal flats rich with shore birds reach into rippling waters. Freighters, ferries and pleasure boats bob toy-like on a sea stretching endlessly into the horizon. The windswept sky dotted with
airplanes rises from the waves and falls behind a mountain and island panorama. Sunsets delight and inspire.
Located in Richmond, on Iona Island, North Arm of the Fraser River. 30 hectares. Birding - extensive
shoreline, tidal flats and marshes contribute to Iona being one of the best birding areas on the Fraser delta
Cycling and Walking Paths - an attractive public promenade and cycle path extends 5 km into the Strait of Georgia

愛歐娜海灘(Iona Beach)公園
愛歐娜海灘位於菲沙河北支出口，海水與淡水交會處，動植物生態十分豐富。它是列治文唯一的地區公園，它原是一個海島，現築有道路與機場所在地的海島(Sea Island)相接。其內擁有淡水池塘、草原、污水處理廠、沈
澱池、防波堤與海灘。這三十公頃的公園地竟然擁有一千二百公頃的潮間淺灘，每年春秋季，太平洋海岸有成千上萬的野生候鳥，如濱鳥(shorebirds)與林鶯(warblers)飛過此地，往年於北方繁殖地與中南美洲度冬區之間。
這也是大溫哥華地區少數公園，同時擁有海水與淡水溼地的生態區，難怪這裡為大溫哥華地區野鳥種類最多的地區，曾經有137種野鳥的最高紀錄。
你可以在伸入喬治亞海峽的海堤漫步或騎腳踏車，感受清涼的海風，瀏覽壯麗的海洋、天空與高山。觀看往來的飛機、渡輪與休閒的船隻，像玩具似地漂浮於地平線上。黃昏時刻，你可以欣賞到澄黃的陽光渲染著整個天
空與海面，隨著夕陽，色彩千變萬化。海邊到處有海鳥飛翔，海洋生物悠遊自在，它們追逐著浪花，探索於1200公頃的海灘。你可以在草澤池塘發現一些罕見的野鳥，或許你只想在白色沙灘上輕鬆地享受野餐與大自然，欣賞美麗的夕陽。
