Queen's Park in New Westminster

New Westminster's flagship park (constructed in 1886) is a 75 acre haven for outdoor enthusiasts and families. Enjoy the many trails, flowers, sporting opportunities, petting farm, playgrounds and wedding facilities that await you at First Street and Third Avenue.

Rainbow Playland
"Rainbow Playland" is the family play area in Queen's Park, featuring a petting farm, spray park and TREATS concession. Located in a beautiful park setting with picnic tables and shelters, swings, and an adventure playground close by, it's the perfect place to spend a summer day.

The Farm is open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. from the May long weekend to the September long weekend. A friendly farmer is on hand to introduce children to dozens of barnyard animals — rabbits, chickens, goats, calves and pigs. It's a hands-on country experience right in the middle of the city!

The Summer Sunday Revue
Visit the outdoor bandshell at Queen's Park at 2 p.m. each Sunday during the summer months, to enjoy free performances by a variety of bands, dancers and singers.

Rose Garden
Before you leave, be sure to stop and smell the over 800 roses at the beautifully restored 19th Century Rose Garden.


新西敏市(New Westminster) 位於菲沙河畔的山坡，老華僑稱二埠，是卑斯省最古老的城市，曾經是卑斯省的省會。新西敏市這個名字是英女皇維多利亞命名的，又叫做皇家城市。新西敏市五月第四星期在該市的女皇公園(Queen’ Park)有一個重要節慶，就是有三十年以上歷史的海爾克嘉年華(Hyack festival)，節目包括向維多利亞女皇致意的禮炮、新西敏小姐選拔賽、古董車遊行等。
