and swim" adventure; meander ocean-side trails to Maple Beach, trek overland to Jug Island Beach, or escape busy White Pine Beach with a stroll around Sasamat Lake. Scuba dive off Whiskey Cove.
Belcarra Regional Park's 690 hectares overlook spectacular Indian Arm and the inner waters of Burrard Inlet. Nine kilometres of marine shoreline dotted with beaches, small
coves and fertile tidal flats, forests vith inland trails, and the region's warmest lake (Sasamat), make the park
intriguing to explore.The park offers visitors a choice of excellent saltwater fishing and crabbing at the picnic area,
freshwater fishing at Sasamat Lake, refreshing walks through coastal rain forests, or scuba diving around offshore reefs and shipvrecks.
In the last 3,000 years Belcarra Picnic Area was occupied, at different times, by two Salish villages. Three archaeological sites along Belcarra's shoreline have been recorded. In 1923, long after native people left Belcarra,
the Harbour Navigation Company developed resort facilities including a dance pavilion, large wharf and cabins. A ferry brought weekend visitors and picnickers. Although these resort facilities and the ferry service no longer exist,
the festive atmosphere still lingers on. Belcarra continues to be a popular spot for large group picnics and offers outstanding year-round recreational opportunities.

高貴林貝爾卡拉(Belcarra)公園
貝爾卡拉公園佔地690公頃，鳥瞰壯麗的印第安內海(Indian Arm)，以及伯拉德內海(Burrard Inlet)。它擁有九公里的海岸線，其間點綴著海灘、小海灣、肥沃的潮間沙洲，森林與步道，以及本地最溫暖的莎沙美特湖(Sasamat Lake)，實在值得人們去探索與欣賞。過去三千年來，Salish
原住民村落就住在此地，曾有古蹟遺址在其海岸為考古家發現。1923
年起，海軍即建造一些渡假設施，以及渡輪往來於溫哥華之間。如今雖然大多設施已拆除，但這裡仍是本地居民假日的最愛。
沿Barnet7A公路在Port Moody
接Ioco Road西北行，至1Ave.北行，接Bedwell Bay Road，轉Tum-Tumay-Whuetom Dr.，依照Belcarra Park Picnic Area標誌西行到底停車場，告示牌前集合。
